Mikés's delightful style makes Switzerland seem not only the land of beauty that it is - it gives it a human touch that there seems to be lacking in all that perfection and lovely majestic grandeur when you persoanlly travel there, as we love to.
For example, Mikés explains that voting rights being reserved to men is really an equitable system, since Swiss vote on a horrendous lot of issues all the time, and it is not only a lot of work it is also taken very seriously - while women have doorknobs to polish, so it seems equal.
