It'd seem strange to begin with how one was awfully depressed for a week when one saw this on Kindle, and got it on a whim. But that's just a small wrinkle after over two decades of spinal problem and surviving a "massive heart attack", the latter as per information from medical professionals when finally we got up courage to go to a hospital due to inability to breathe or to lie down to sleep.
So reading was now a major support for a little over a year, much more than it has been for well over six decades, and writing reviews for oneself the only work possible. And the very reliable tab crashing a major horror with risk of work bring lost.
Phones these days are more powerful, my partner for life informed me, than the laptop that's so "sensitive" it often behaves like a horse who'd like to throw you, and so I turned to the phone, managing to finish the book - Ragnarok, Age of Fire and Gravel - and reviews, giving up efforts to store the reviews more properly on the book site that's not as good as shelfari used to be.
So beginning the final book of the collection after Atlantis and Ragnarok, looking to see if one can find a separate edition, Kindle offering this one seemed worth a shot for some relief.

From the word go this is hilarious, despite the simplicity, and reminds me of the loving, kind relatives who were our carers when we were young. Laughing so freely seemed good after all the strains that include watching the partner go through so much and feeling of helplessness to make it better, after the life of striving as long as one wasn't unable to carry one's share of load.
So read this if you have the least need of a smile, and be instantly refreshed.
